How payment moves through an order.
Payment approval involves the checkout service, your selected payment provider and your card issuer or financial institution. The exact checks may differ by payment method, location and order.
Secure checkout entry
Enter payment details only inside the checkout window presented by the CarSync store. Do not send complete card information through email, text messages, contact forms or phone conversations.
Provider authorization
Your payment service and financial institution evaluate the transaction. They may approve it, decline it or request an additional identity check before authorization is completed.
Order review
Some orders may be held briefly for billing, address or fraud-prevention review. CarSync may contact you through the information attached to the order when clarification is needed.
Order confirmation
Your order is confirmed after checkout and any required review. A bank authorization marked as pending does not always mean the transaction has been fully completed or captured.

Information you should not send
CarSync support does not need complete payment credentials to answer an order, compatibility or installation question.

- Your card PIN, online banking password or account login credentials.
- A complete card security code through a support message.
- Remote access to your computer, mobile device or banking application.
Common situations after checkout.
A payment status on your banking screen may not always match the final order status immediately. Authorization, release and refund timing are generally controlled by the payment provider or financial institution.
A temporary authorization is visible
Your bank may reserve an amount while the payment is being reviewed or processed. A pending authorization does not always mean that a final charge has been completed.
The payment was not approved
A transaction can be declined because of billing details, account limits, security controls or an issuer decision. CarSync cannot override a financial institution's approval decision.
More than one pending entry appears
Retrying payment can sometimes create multiple temporary authorizations even when only one order is completed. Uncaptured authorizations are released according to the issuer's timing.
